Approximate age/birthdate:  ~ December 2013

Weight/size:  ~ 55-60 lb 
 
Housebroken:  YES as long as you do your part
 
Crate trained:  YES … she can do overnight without any accidents

Personality: a bit shy until she knows you, happy, sweet, loving

Energy level:  Medium with bursts of high … she’s a sweet girl, but will benefit from some consistent one-on-one training
 
Fenced yard required?:   YES … she absolutely needs a place to run and play safely off-leash

Does he/she jump fences?  NO

Leash walk:  YES

Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK     

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:   YES

Social with other dogs:  YES – at least with her foster siblings.  She (as with any dog) should be properly introduced to any new dogs before being allowed to run free with them
 
Social with cats:  Probably best with no cats … she barks at them and we are sure she would chase them

Good with children: She seems to like children as long as they are calm and gentle with her

BeBe is such a sweet girl and she wants a family to call her very own.  She has done well learning house manners … she is smart girl who really wants to please you.  Any time she has something to climb on, she will, and we think she would be a great agility dog with the right training!  She loves attention and positive reinforcement and she seems to have a very ‘loyal’ personality.  She is going to be a huge happy addition to just the right family!

BeBe and her brother Tony came out of an Animal Control facility where they were surrendered.  We don’t know why, but we do know they were pretty sick at the time but they bounced back quickly and have had no additional issues.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if BeBe picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
